Cookie Policy

Effective date: [launch date] · Last updated: [launch date]

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy describes how Cloud Excel LLC ("Cloud Excel", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on the cloud-excel.com website ("Site"). This Policy supplements our Privacy Notice and is issued in compliance with the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (Fla. Stat. §§ 501.701–501.722), the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA / CPRA), the GDPR / UK GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018), where applicable.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by the user's browser when visiting a site. They allow the device to be recognized, preferences to be remembered, usage patterns to be understood, and additional functionality to be offered. Similar technologies — such as web beacons, pixels, local storage and session storage — serve analogous functions and are covered by this Policy.

3. Categories of cookies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies

Essential to the operation of the Site. They cannot be disabled in our systems. Without them, the Site does not function properly.

  • Selected language preference (next-intl)
  • Session and authentication (when applicable)
  • Security and fraud prevention (CSRF tokens)
  • Server load balancing

Legal basis: legitimate interest / performance of a contract. No prior consent required.

3.2 Performance and analytics cookies

Allow us to measure Site usage, identify performance issues and improve the user experience. Data is aggregated and, whenever possible, anonymized.

  • Number of visitors and pages accessed
  • Traffic source
  • Time spent and navigation patterns
  • Technical errors and failures

Legal basis: consent (where required) or legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the Site.

3.3 Functional cookies

Allow us to remember choices made by the user (such as preferred language) and offer personalized functionality.

Legal basis: consent, where applicable.

3.4 Marketing and advertising cookies

Cloud Excel does not use behavioral advertising cookies, does not sell data to third parties and does not integrate ad networks (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) on the public Site. We may use, in a limited and transparent manner, conversion pixels to measure the effectiveness of our own campaigns, with consent where required.

4. Third-party cookies

We may use third-party services that in turn place cookies on the user's browser. Potential examples:

  • Hosting and CDN provider: load balancing, security, and fraud protection cookies
  • Analytics tool: aggregated and anonymized measurement of Site usage
  • Anti-bot verification provider: when applicable, to prevent form abuse

Cloud Excel selects providers that follow equivalent standards of protection. Each provider has its own cookie policy, which may be consulted directly on its website.

5. Retention period

  • Session cookies: expire when the browser is closed
  • Persistent cookies: remain for the configured period, typically between 30 days and 24 months, and may be removed by the user at any time

6. How to manage cookies

The user may at any time configure the browser to refuse, accept or delete cookies. Instructions vary by browser:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Safari → Privacy and security
  • Mozilla Firefox: Options → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair the functioning of the Site.

7. "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control

We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals transmitted by browsers that support them, where applicable to the user's jurisdiction. There is currently no uniform standard for the "Do Not Track" signal; once it is universally adopted, we will adjust our practice.

8. User rights

Depending on jurisdiction, the user may have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction and objection to the processing of data collected via cookies. Details and channels to exercise these rights are set out in the Privacy Notice.

9. Changes to this Policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in technology, practice or legislation. The "Last updated" date at the top of the document indicates the current version.
